Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StorageFinder ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

StorageFinder is an online marketplace that connects vehicle and equipment owners ("Storers") with property owners who have available storage space ("Hosts"). We facilitate the booking process and handle payments but are not a party to the storage agreement between Storers and Hosts.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Host Obligations

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listed spaces comply with all applicable local council regulations, zoning laws, and safety requirements. Hosts must accurately represent their spaces including access type, security features, and capacity.

5. Storer Obligations

Storers must provide accurate vehicle details when making a booking. Storers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy, properly insured, and do not contain hazardous materials unless explicitly agreed upon with the Host.

6. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. A 15% platform fee is charged on each booking. Hosts receive 85% of the booking amount after the booking is confirmed. Funds are held until the booking start date. Listing on the platform is free.

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary by listing and are displayed on each listing page. Three policy levels are available: Flexible, Moderate, and Strict. Refer to the specific listing for applicable cancellation terms and refund amounts.

8. Liability

StorageFinder acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not liable for any damage to vehicles, equipment, or property that occurs during a storage arrangement. We strongly recommend that both Hosts and Storers maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a Storer and Host, both parties should first attempt to resolve the matter directly. StorageFinder may assist in mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the relevant state consumer protection authority.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
